Some Signs of
Diabetes
Because diabetes is becoming such a prevalent problem in the
United States, many people wonder what the signs of diabetes
are. There are a few things that could indicate
diabetes:
- Frequent urination
- Weight gain
- A sense of feeling extremely hungry all of the
time
- Fatigue
- Irritability
- Blurred vision
- Unusual weight loss
Obviously, the above conditions could relate to other health
issues.
A sign that your blood sugar is either too high or too low
is a dizzy, sick feeling, particularly when you get up in the
morning or when you walk around. Some people with
diabetes are unable to walk to the refrigerator because of
dizziness; others simply want to lie around instead of moving
around. Inactivity is not good; if there is a blood sugar
problem, the body cannot eliminate it or produce more blood
sugar if it is inactive.
If you have any reason to suspect that you are exhibiting
signs of diabetes, you should contact your doctor
immediately.
