I spend the first 23 years in Greece, then 6 in the South of England and almost 5 in Northern Ireland. I have traveled extensively in Europe, complete with driving from N.ireland to Greece with 4 children under 7 (one being a newborn of 7 weeks) and now I am doing my Asian time in the Philippines. I just joined today. I grew up in Zimbabwe (when it was still Rhodesia), then went to live in England and now I live in Hong Kong - been here for 14 years.
I look forward to meeting new friends and answering any questions on Hong Kong, but also other places in Asia since I've been lucky enough to visit many Asian countries.

THANKS :P.... Traveling with a child - I happen to have the opportunity to travel with my 12 year old son a lot last year and about three times since the year began. You have to include them in the packing process because there will be stuff that they want to bring as entertainment and for their personal use. Allow them to open up to you before and during the flight. This is the perfect opportunity to speak to your child and to learn more about them. I find it kind of fun to travel with my son. I found out how much smarter he really is and you will too..... London affordable for a family? - Hi.
I was thinking of taking my family (husband and 2 children) to London in September. Is it "affordable" to stay there? And can anyone recommend me a stay, if they've been to London before?

Lena.... Credit crunch tip save money booking holidays - OK well I maybe the last to know but this year I found out that if I go to the travel agent and talk to them about holidays and get ideas, that after getting a price from them, I could go online to the same company and save money.
For example, I went to First Choice who I have been using for years now for my holidays, asked them for details of holidays and got told that no one could beat the price they were offering. We went away feeling very pleased and were going to book it with them the next day.
We were looking on the internet with first choice at our chosen holiday destination when we started playing around to see how much it would be for inclusive. We found that it was not that much more expensive than we were quoted for self catering. We decided to enter our details online to check the price as we thought there must have been a mistake.... Best place for chirstmas celebration - What is your favorite place for Christmas celebration, I choose my hometown, I will meet my friends there..... traver in smaller country - I havn't go abroad, I like traver,especially traver in smaller country, I think this kind of country must be interesting, and I can learn more cusume knowledge, life style, culture and etc.....
