Why won't YouTube convert a video that was downloaded from YouTube? - I found a video that played in stereo by default so I tried re-uploading the .flv file from my cache to YouTube privately to see how it handled it, but it just stays in "processing please wait" mode forever. Tried this twice. Obviously it isn't going to process it.
Any idea why?

take your AC3 file and use AVISynth this way :

You mean, like the one that's referred to one post above your question (and thanks to Tripper_ also in the initial post)?... color issue with Canon HF10 / HF100? - According to DvAvcIndex the MTS file uses rec.709. Using AviSynth to convert to RGB with the rec709 matrix:
