Cool Off With Inflatable Above Ground Pools
When I think of summer, I think about taking a dip in the pool. For a couple of years, I would load my five kids into the car and
drive over to the community pool. The kids thought this was great fun, but as a parent, I worried about so many people using
the community pool. It was hard to keep track of my kids with so many other kids and adults splashing around. Also, I
wasn't positive that the community swimming facility was the cleanest place to take a dip. Although our local pool seems
to be well maintained, I just can't help but wonder who is peeing in the pool or if there are any harmful bacteria in it. My wife shares my
apprehensions, so we decided to take a look at inflatable above ground pools to find an affordable solution that we would be comfortable
with.
We discovered that there are many sizes of inflatable above ground pools. This summer, I took the plunge and bought one from a department
store for a real bargain. It was not a huge pool, but it was enough for my kids to stay entertained with. There were many inflatable
above ground pools on the shelf, but this one was the best because of the accessories. It had a sprinkler, slide and toys, and, of course, the
swimming pool. The kids love it and enjoy inviting their friends over for an afternoon of fun. Best yet, my wife or I can easily keep
track of our kids now to make sure they are safe.

The inflatable pool has lasted the whole summer without popping, which is more than I can say for other inflatable above ground
pools that my neighbors have purchased.
We started out with a smaller version, but are thinking about buying the larger inflatable above ground pools. These vary in price, and
the quality of each will depend on how much you spend. Some of these come with a working filter and steps to get in and out. The most common kind
I have seen is about three feet deep, with plenty of room for the entire family. One thing I found out about these larger
inflatable above ground pools is that they can take some time to fill. You’ll find that you might need a better water supply than just
your garden hose.
No matter which style of inflatable above ground pools you buy, make sure you check your local ordinances to see what is acceptable and what
is not. Some municipalities require a permit. If you live in a city or town, make sure that you can have the pool before spending
money on one and filling it.
