Ceramic Canister Sets Are A 'Must Have' In My Kitchen!
Ceramic canister sets are "must have" items for any serious cook. It seems I'm always in the kitchen, and I absolutely love having
these sets so I can stay organized, keep my ingredients fresh, and add some splash to my kitchen decor. Whether you have a gourmet kitchen
or a traditional cooking area, these items can really be a great addition to your cooking area. The ceramic canister sets offer many features and
they also provide a few extra perks that you might not have thought about. You can find a set that suits your needs and you kitchen’s style with
a little homework.
The first thing you want to consider is how many ceramic canister sets you will need for your space. You might be surprised to discover that
one set is simply not enough. If you do a lot of baking or if you use a lot of ingredients, you really want to determine if you need multiple
ceramic canister sets for your home. I have three canister sets; one is for herbs that I've grown and dried, another is for flour and baking
ingredients, and yet another is for coffee beans and grains.
After deciding how many canisters you need, you should consider whether you want to stick with a single style or color. You can keep things
simple by choosing matching ceramic canister sets for your kitchen or you jazz your selection up a bit by choosing sets that are a
little different.

When choosing ceramic canister sets that are different, you could go with a particular color scheme or you could choose contrasting colors. I
have white kitchen counters and I chose one colorful American southwest style set for my beans and grains, a green set for my herbs and
spices, and a red set for the flour and baking ingredients. Since I live in Arizona, these create a beautiful American Southwest flavor to
my kitchen. I added a lot of depth and interest to the area by adding little details like Kokopeli style towels and hand mitts.
The contrasting color scheme isn’t good for every space. Make sure that you are comfortable with the color scheme and hues before
purchasing contrasting ceramic canister sets for your kitchen. You might prefer something more subtle. My husband thinks I should have bought
some pure white canister sets for our white counter. This would be practical, I suppose, but I like the colors and artistic decor
that's added to my otherwise plain kitchen.
I also like the high-gloss finish on the products that have a mirror-like finish. These ceramic canister sets are topped with very tight
fitting stainless steel lids that work wonders for keeping things fresh. I keep my whole coffee beans in one of the canisters and it stays fresh
for ages.
Now that I'm writing this article, it's making me lust after some more canister sets! I have so many uses for the ceramic canister
sets that I just might add one more to the group. I’ll be sure to come up with another color or style just to see if my husband notices!
