Want to Date that Cute Gal Next Door? How to Impress a Girl
If you've been wanting to date that attractive gal next door, it's time to learn how to impress a girl. This is not the easiest subject
for many guys. As a matter of fact, I have friends who have never in their entire lives figured out the riddle of impressing girls.
To be honest, I think they were making it too difficult. It's not that hard to impress a girl so long as you stop acting like she's
another one of the guys.
Face It - We Guys are Different
As guys, we love to compete. It's not just sports. Heck, when I've been hanging out with my friends on camping trips or at
the mall, we'll find anything to compete about. I snarfed down 42 hot dogs in 5 minutes -- but lost out to my best
friend Joe. I've won farting contests and other things that would never in this lifetime or the next impress a girl.

Because we are so used to competing, we guys thing that the best way to impress a girl is to show off, whether by attempting to dazzle her
with our vast knowledge on various topics or to show her our brute strengths. Unfortunately, the girls just roll their eyes.
They're not impressed.
The Key to Impressing Girls - Watch How They Behave
If we can't compete or show off, what's the magic secret in how to impress a girl? We need to look at what girls like.
When we were in elementary school, we guys hung out in the playground beating each other up or competing in whatever we could find to change
into a contest. The girls were all huddled together, talking.
Girls like to talk. I don't have a clue what they talk about amongst themselves, but they do like to talk. They also like to listen, and
like to be listened to. Especially by guys.
One of the best things you can do to impress a girl is to be able to carry on a mature, intelligent conversation with her. It doesn’t have to
be about the theory of relativity or something that advanced, but fart jokes probably aren’t such a great idea. It’s important to ask her
questions and then pay attention to what she says. Being interested in what a girl likes and what she's about will definitely impress a
girl. She'll start paying attention to you.
Chivalry, such as opening a door for a girl or carrying her books, is far from dead. But some girls find our chivalrous behavior to be
demeaning. Carry on a decent conversation with her first to figure out where she stands on this issue.
